Data deletion
Effective date: 6 July 2026
You can ask us to delete your Sosho account and the data associated with it at any time. Here’s how.
How to request deletion
Choose whichever is easier:
- By email — send a message to support@gososho.co.uk from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- On WhatsApp — message “delete my account” to the Sosho WhatsApp number you chat with.
- Through Facebook — remove Sosho from Facebook's Business Integrations / Apps settings. Meta will notify us and we will remove the stored Facebook connection data associated with that account.
We may contact you to confirm the request before we act on it, so that no one else can delete your account.
What gets deleted
When we process your request we delete:
- your store profile and account details;
- the photos and content you’ve sent;
- your chat history with Sosho;
- your Facebook Page connection and the access token we hold for it.
- Facebook Page content and Insights metrics cached by Sosho.
Removing the connection means Sosho can no longer post to your Facebook Page. Posts already published to your Page stay on Facebook and remain under your control — you can remove those from Facebook directly.
How long it takes
We complete deletion within 30 days of confirming your request. We may keep limited records where the law requires it; those are deleted once they are no longer needed.
